In 1995 Harlan Coben published Deal Breaker, the first book in the critically acclaimed mystery series featuring the beloved character Myron Bolitar. Since 1995 Harlan Coben has gone on to publish three other paperback originals and has won every major award in the field. He is the winner of the 1997 Edgar Allan Poe Award for Best Paperback Original from the Mystery Writers of America, the 1997 Shamus Award from the Private Eye Writers of America, and the 1996 Anthony Award from the thousands of fans who attend the annual Bouchercon World Mystery Convention. After graduating from Amherst College with a degree in political science, Harlan Coben first began a career in the travel industry.
